Working
with Kathy and Toine means that you will never be limited
to one sellers horses. Rather, you will select your
next partner from among all the countries in Europe
including Germany, Holland, France, Denmark, Sweden, Belgium,
and more, or the United States.
Also,
some of the very best horses are purchased quickly or arent
ever for sale. Because of the breadth and depth
of our relationships in the European Union, we are able to
bring our clients the advantage of viewing horses prior to
their being formally for sale.
Why go
to Europe to purchase a sport horse?
Often,
we have been able to find horses for clients in the U.S. However,
there are fewer sporthorses to select from in the States.
They often are more costly, and it is very expensive to fly
around the U.S. just to see one horse per trip.
Whereas,
for example, flying from New York to Amsterdam is very reasonable
- tickets can be purchased for a little as US$500 roundtrip.
Other expenses are minimal (hotels are about US$60 per night),
and there is no need to rent a car.
Horses
are an industry in Europe. For example, nearly 20,000 horses
are born per year in Holland alone. Going to Europe to look
at horses is like going to a "horse store." You
provide yourself with an opportunity to comparison shop from
a large number of horses. It is not such a scary process when
you are in a protected atmosphere.

Purchasing
foal prospects - one of
Toine's specialties
An increasing
number of people have asked Toine to select a foal for them to import. With his
in depth understanding of bloodlines, years of breeding horses himself, and his
innumerable breeder contacts in Europe, he has been able to pair interested
buyers with future prospects.
Financial
advantage
Foals are far less
expensive and Toine can arrange boarding until the buyer decides to import the
young horse.
Each year Toine
selects foals for the upcoming future Stallion shows as prospects for other
people or that he and Kathy own together.
